Tonight’s two test drives, in two parts:
1) 2002 Carrera 911 Cabriolet: Cheap asking price. Likely worth it, but not for me. I’ve never driven a tiptronic before and even with the buttons on the wheel it wasn’t rewarding. My hunt for a proper track car continues.
2) Clement Jon One 125th Anniversary: Kind of the same as the car. Perfect, but for someone else. Overly strong alcohol start that offers an aftertaste of vanilla and coffee. Just a very mild aftertaste. It’s off balance with the strong whisky like start. Felt like a front wheel drive with way too much torque steer. Big noisy start that doesn’t quite go where you want it to but enjoyable regardless.
